Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information BlockSkinLab processes when you use our image converter, local AI skin generator, guides, and feedback form. BlockSkinLab is an independent project and is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.

Images and generated skins stay on your device

The image converter processes source images with browser APIs on your device. The AI skin generator downloads a model file and performs inference locally in your browser. We do not upload your source images, generated skin pixels, or downloaded PNG files to our servers. We do not currently provide accounts or server-side project storage.

Information processed when you visit

Our hosting and security providers may process standard request information needed to deliver and protect the site, including IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, timestamps, and security logs. Their retention periods are controlled by their systems and legal obligations.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is found and used. Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, device type, browser type, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies. We use this information to diagnose problems and improve the tools and guides; we do not send source images or generated skin files to Google Analytics.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services on Google's partner sites information page. Browser controls and privacy tools may also let you block or delete analytics cookies.

Cookies, advertising, and your choices

BlockSkinLab and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to operate, secure, measure, and improve the site. If Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, measure, and personalize ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.

You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Where required, visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be shown privacy choices through a Google-certified consent management platform before personal data is used for personalized advertising. Those choices can be changed through the privacy options shown on the site.

Feedback and optional email

If you submit a form, we send the selected category, your message, optional email address, the page that opened the form, and limited tool settings to our feedback inbox. Tool settings may include the selected skin size, arm model, and number of edited pixels. We do not attach your source image or generated skin to the submission.

Providing an email is optional. We use it only to reply about the feedback you submitted or to tell you when that issue or requested improvement is addressed. It is not added to a marketing list. Email delivery is processed by our transactional email provider. We retain feedback only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, investigate an issue, improve the service, or meet legal obligations.

Children's privacy

BlockSkinLab is a general-audience service and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not ask users to create accounts or provide an age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child submitted personal information through the feedback form, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with a feedback submission. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email feedback@blockskinlab.com or use the contact form. We may need enough information to locate the submission and verify the request.

External links and changes

Our guides link to external websites, including Minecraft and Google services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We may update this policy as the product or its service providers change, and we will revise the date at the top when a material update is published.
