Place two readable eyes on the front 8×8 head grid, then preview the skin so they do not end up too high, too close, or on the wrong side.
Add your skin through the Java Launcher or minecraft.net profile, or import it in Bedrock's Dressing Room. Follow the illustrated steps for your edition.
Download a color-coded 64×64 or 128×128 Minecraft skin template and learn where every major body part and outer layer sits in the flat PNG.
More pixels do not automatically make a better or more compatible skin. Choose the size that your edition, launcher, and upload path can actually use.
